We missed satay so much, I just had to make it. Our next trip back to Singapore was quite some time later. They will always just give 3 satays on board, which is barely enough to satisfy the craving, plus the one we had at the so-called Singaporean restaurant didn't satisfy this craving. In fact, it made it worst. So here, satay for everyone's home made BBQs.

Poke Bowl
This is a strange thing about poke bowls. They leave you really satisfied (and feeling healthy) after the meal, but 3hours later, you mysteriously find that you are hungry, yet again. I've had enough of it, so I made sure I have a ready supply of poke bowl ingredients to last me all day, and it did. Yums.
Achar (Nonya Spicy Pickled Vegetables)
I wanted nasi lemak. There was salmon baking in the oven, and then what is nasi lemak without cucumbers. I had pineapples in the fridge, so hey, best to incorporate them both and turn them into this refreshing Nonya / Peranakan pickled dish, achar, to go with my Nasi Lemak!
Pineapple Tarts
There was leftover pineapples in the fridge, still. Then I realised that I haven't really had time to make pineapple tarts this year, with the wedding and all that going on. So here, pineapple tarts!
